Dr. Mark Poguntke leads Audi’s UX/UI concept development team since 2021, focusing on in-car interaction concepts for vehicle and driving functions, automated driving, and infotainment systems. Mark started his career at Daimler AG in 2008 within the R&D department for HMI and Speech Dialog Systems. From 2012 to 2018 he was part of Mercedes-Benz R&D North America where he led various UI design and development projects within the UI Studio Silicon Valley. Since 2017 he has managed a UX/UI engineering team before moving to Audi AG in 2018 as Head of UI Functions development. Mark holds a PhD degree in human-computer interaction for his work on abstract interaction modeling.
